Good news for Apple fans. Yet an other Apple creation is going to be unveiled on March 7, 2012. This time in the form of iPad 3. What more good news does the Apple community need than this ?
Yes you heard it right folks !!
On this auspicious day the company has decided to launch iPad 3. Talking about its new features it will include a faster processor, faster graphics and a retina display.
Apple was likely forced to increase the iPad 3′s thickness to fit in some new hardware, like the higher resolution Retina Display, improved camera, and possible inclusion of LTE 4G technology.
Along with the 2048×1536 Retina display, the iPad 3 will feature a quad-core Apple 6 system-on-a-chip.
A recent article in the Korea Times has stated that 2 of the biggest LCD manufacturers, Samsung & LG have been working closely with Apple to produce new 2048×1536 HD displays, with an aspect ratio of 4:3 for the iPad 3. The current iPad has a mere 1024×768 resolution display in comparison.
Certain reports also suggest that the new tablet will have even more thicker(1-1.5 inch thicker) edges than iPad 2.
Here’s a list of rumors that are being buzzed around during the last 2 months about iPad 3 ..
1) The iPad 3 will have a bigger battery: Some say the new casing appears to accommodate a larger battery.
2) The iPad 3 hardware could include an NFC chip: Near Field Communication(NFC) enabling you to use your data and settings with a flick of the wrist.
3) The iPad 3 specifications will include more storage : A 128 GB option isn’t impossible.
4)The iPad 3 might even have an SD card Slot.
5)The iPad3 including better rear and front cameras.
6)The iPad3 might use gesture controls.
7)The iPad3 could feature a carbon fiber case.
