Hey friends I am back and this time with a technique to convert your paper into jewelry. It is a good way of saving paper; in fact it’s a way of recycling paper.

Things that we need are:

• 1. Waste paper
• 2. Ruler
• 3. Pencil
• 4. Scissor/cutter
• 5. Glue
• 6. Toothpick
• 7. Varnish (optional)

Now we will see how to make it:

Step 1:
Take a waste paper and cut out triangle shapes as shown in the picture. It should be around 2 cm. at the base.

Step 2:
Base and length can be varied according to the shape that you want your bead in.

Step 3:
Now these triangles have to be rolled around the toothpick starting from the base. The paper should be rolled tightly.

Step 4:
Apply glue on the tip of the paper i.e. on the last 3 inches of the paper.

Step 5:
Now the bead should be ready. Take out the bead slowly; it should not lose its shape.

Step 6:
Now you can apply varnish or glue all over the bead so that it lasts long, and also it will give a shiny look to the bead. Let it dry for some time and your bead is ready to use.

Now how to make things from it:

We can make different things from these paper beads like bracelet, necklace even key-chains with the help of wires or strong threads that you have.

I made these for myself and even wore it to the office. People couldn’t make out they are PAPER beads.

So go ahead n make these beautiful paper beads and some creative things out of it……

Tip: If varnish is not applied it may not be waterproof.
