The weird news are doing rounds in the internet these days regarding a hen who gave a birth to direct chick and not egg. There was no egg but the chick came our directly from the hen at Sri Lanka.
This is the chick that came without egg
Strange but true that the chick is fully formed and healthy and is living but the mother has died immediately after giving birth. People across the area are saying that they have never seen such miracle before and they are totally shocked.
PR Yapa, the chief veterinary officer of Welimada, where it took place, examined the hen’s carcass.
He found that the fertilised egg had developed within it’s reproductive system, but stayed inside the hen’s body until it hatched. The death of the hen happened due to internal injury
