While Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Beti B’s name remains a mystery to all, here’s the version of the baby’s papa and grandpa’s contrasting statements. Few days back, when papa Abhishek Bachchan told that they have finalised a name for Beti B and would reveal it shortly, here’s what grandpa Big B had to say.
Responding to a tweet by one of his fans, Amitabh Bachchan said, “ No media is wrong .. name not selected yet.”

“We’ve got a name, and I’ll announce it very soon, but in terms of releasing a photograph you know I… if people see her in everyday life that’s fine by me, but I just think releasing the photograph is a very pompous thing to do. We don’t believe in any ceremony in terms of naamkaran, and by the way it’s not Aaliya, as rumoured. ” Abhishek said in a statement releasd at a forum where he was a guest speaker.
We wonder, if Amitabh will make a Twitter announcement again!
